Summary/Abstract: The Cathedral Chapter in Elbląg was established on the 25th November 1992. The installation of canons did not take place until 25th March 1993. The article presents the quarter-century of this chapter against the history of cathedral and collegiate chapters in the North-Eastern Poland region (Gdańsk and the metropolis of Warmia). Much space was devoted tothe numerous chapters and to the education of canons.
