Summary/Abstract: The Adhortation "Gaudete et exsultate" appeared in Rom 19. 03. 2018. In this document the Pope Francis invites all members of the Catholic Church to return to the path of sanctity. The Holy Father recalls often the biblical texts, related to the theme of vocation to sanctity. Generally, they are 182 biblical texts, among them 109 direct quotes. The article analyzes how the Pope Francis discusses these texts. The Teaching of Pope is different to a simple exegesis. His Explanation of the Bible is closely related to current problems of believers and today’s Church
