Summary/Abstract: The article presents the most interesting pipes found during the archaeological research conducted at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. The artefacts are characterised according to their types and provenance. The collection includes pipes of Dutch, Prussian, Oriental, and local origin, made between the seventeenth and twentieth centuries. Their analysis made it possible to illustrate the variety of types of pipes used by the population of Warsaw and to answer the question of how their influx changed over time.
