Summary/Abstract: The article makes an attempt to depict the spiritual dimension of 20th century Polish Mysticism which here is named as Vistula Mysticism (Saint Adam Albert Chmielowski, Saint Faustina Kowalska, Saint John Paul, Father Joseph Tischner). Its special character has been highlighted in critical confrontation with the phenomenon of rationalism and intellectualization as well as in comparison with commonly accepted trends of mysticism in Europe. The author indicated basic features of Vistula Mysticism which are, among others, personalism and dolorism. The testimonies of the mystics as well as their teaching served as the evidence and support for the article. The culmination of the discussed trend is the part about the Divine Mercy. It has fundamental meaning for development of mystical life of a Christian. Moreover, in case of representatives of Vistula Mysticism it was a specific antidote on evil in 20th century.
