Russia’s Strategy in the Aspects of Security

Summary/Abstract: An important problematic issue of the war caused by a specific policy is the relationship between strategy and politics. In the article, the author makes considerations using the research tools, trying to determine the nature of these relationships and where are the boundaries between these two areas, also considering the war in Ukraine. Many strategists and theorists of war state that the line between politics and strategy is obvious. When the conflict turns into the phase of the war, it is up to the military to end it. Politicians should stay in the background pending peace negotiations, giving troops priority in defining and managing strategy. Considering the above, we can conclude that war is an instrument of politics. The military strategy is, therefore, part of a global strategy that defines procedures throughout the conflict without preventing soldiers from being in command.
