The The experiences of academic libraries in bibliographic, documentary and reporting activities in the context of cooperation with the Polish Scientific Bibliography in the years 2012-2020/2021 - analysis of selected issues

Summary/Abstract: The changes in the science of Poland related to its management, funding, and the process of evaluation and parameterization have forced academic libraries to make a number of modifications. Adapting to the changing legislation and requirements was a difficult task, especially for libraries that became partners in data transfer and wanted to meet the challenges posed to universities by the Ministry of Science. The article presents the bibliographic, documentary, and reporting experiences of the cooperation with PBN in the years 2012-2021. It points out the problems and benefits, the effects of which are visible in the co-creation of the Polish Scientific Bibliography. It is partly based on a survey conducted among academic libraries, which concerned the following issues: cooperation, involvement, role, tasks of libraries in the evaluation process, and parameterization in connection with the responsibility for the proper course of reporting by the University. More broadly - referring also to aspects related to cooperation within all PBN modules and their functioning.
