Summary/Abstract: In recent years, the topic of attitudes toward children, including violence against them, has been increasingly relevant. The study deals with the theories which seek to explain violence, its types, and psychological consequences for children. The general rules of psychological help for abused children are discussed. Specific practical tasks are proposed in the context of group psychotherapy and counseling.
