Summary/Abstract: The arrival of German guests in the territory of nowadays Slovakia has significantly formed the Slovak cultural environment in the Kingdom of Hungary since the 13th Century. However, the formation took place in both directions, so the Slovak (as the local) element naturally influenced the present German ethnic group. In this paper, we focus on mapping research focused on the Slovak-German relations. We present selected important scientific works from Slovak scientists as we try to declare on them the wide spectrum, that research in this field of Slavic studies offers.
