Summary/Abstract: The article scrutinizes the practice of projecting works of poetry on façades inmetropolitan spaces based on two cases: an individual event related to Piotr Sommer’spoems during the Conrad Festival (2012) and the actions Jenny Holzer undertook formany years. The article shows the critical potential of “poems made of light” and thedual understanding of their spectacularization: as a commodification of literature andas an experience in which the communal character of the experience comes to the fore.
