Summary/Abstract: This article considers whether Bruno Schulz was musical, to what kind of music helistened, and how these audial experiences might have influenced his work. Based onpreserved testimonies, Skrzypczak reconstructs Schulz’s approach to music. The analysisof archival materials and prose fragments allows us to break with the perpetuatedstereotype concerning Schulz’s musical interests and the sonic entanglements of histexts.
