Summary/Abstract: TransfictionsThe article introduces readers to the problem of transfiction, meaning ways of organizingconceptual and literary (resp. artistic) discourse, which are based on the contemporaryparadigm of thinking about the future. We should comprehend transfiction in thefollowing paradigms: dialectical, as an expression of contradictions between differentforms of temporality; generic, as ways of creating these temporalities; epistemological,as a perspective on studying reality; and aesthetic, as a change in the phenomenal, sensual, and sensory world. All these modalities are ways to expand the transcendentalfield, thus ways to legitimize knowledge about people. The article mentions two types oftransfiction: scientific speculation (Stanisław Lem) and the modernist type that involvesthe construction of time as an ontological form (Virginia Woolf).
