Summary/Abstract: Article paying attention to the quantitative growth of the elderly population, brings up the subject ethical indexation of old age in the context of the crisis associated with the fear of the inevitable approach of death, and the same doubts about the meaning of life. Subject important in itself, but also because of the a strong cult of youth, widely prevalent in popular culture and ideology of consumerism. The consequence for this phenomenon has become almost a general reducing social status of the elderly, and consequently, changes in of attitudes of people and social thinking about old age. Author writing about the necessity of finding the meaning of life in old age, encourages to appreciate old age. The article is a kind of postulates to create a new axiology of old age based on a theological value as a significant stage eschatological road for connecting with God.
