Summary/Abstract: An untitled compilation conventionally referred to as Mădrost Zlatoustova is identified as a source of 3 units in the 10th c. Bulgarian Glagolitic compilation Zlatostruj, of 7 units in the cotemporary Glagolitic Knjažij Izbornik and of the initium of 1 compiled text in the Izmaragd. Three compilation strategies are identified: selection, paraphrase and enhancement up to independent compilation. Attention is directed to the probable role of wax-tablet antigraphs in the compilations, which should preclude questions as to their filiation.
