Summary/Abstract: The object of the work is the hymnographic work of one of the creators of the Slavic Octoich – Pippin. An indicative list of the works in which this acronym occurs has been prepared. A study was made of one of the texts – the Canon of the Mother of God, on Wednesday in voice 2, as a result of which it becomes clear that a group of Old Bulgarian scribes worked on the transcript. The reason for thinking this is given by the names of Dox, Sondok, Evva, Prov, Irna, Boris, Pipin and possibly the two authors unknown to us – Kyriakoz and Vichron – embedded in the acrostic. Since Boris and Dox are supposed to have worked during the Cyril-Methodian era, i.e. they were one of the first Old Bulgarian hymnographers; for Eva, the hypothesis is that she was the first Old Bulgarian poetess; the name of Prov is often found in manuscripts together with the name of Clement, Nahum, Boris, Boyan, Sisinius and many other early authors. All these facts speak for the rest of the scribes from the team who worked on the canon (Sondok, Irna, Kyriakoz, Vichron), including studies of Pippin, that they too were part of Simeon's literary circle, in the era of the Golden Age.
