Summary/Abstract: This paper is a continuation of the theme of amulets with prayer formulas, including those with Gorgon Medusa directed against Hystera, among the most popular in the X-XI century. The image of Medusa has always been closely associated with internal organs, the image is often appears on rings for good luck and protection of body and soul. This is exactly what the current monument is like (Fig. 1). It is a lead amulet with a round shape and an ear for hanging. Dimensions: d - 3 cm, ear - 0.7 cm. Thickness - 0.2 cm. On the front side there is a relief 4-line inscription with an underlined line, and around it there is a grainy circle with d - 2.5 cm. The inscription represents the Three Holy Hymns. On the reverse is the Gorgon depicted with a relief schematic face in the middle and seven snake bodies. The iconography of the images on the amulet, combined with the inscriptions and the material of the workmanship, synthesize the ideas of its bearer and his belief in the protective and renewing power of Hystera.
