Summary/Abstract: The sample under study consisted of seven coins. Six of them were issued by provincial mints. These are: four tetradrachms of Antioch on the Orontes minted on behalf of Trajan Decius (n=2), his son Herennius Etruscus (n=1), and Trebonianus Gallus (n=1), as well as bronze coins of Gordian III (n=1) from Anchialus in Thrace and Trajan Decius (n=1) from Rhesaena in Mesopotamia. The Antoninianus of Herennius Etruscus, released in Rome, was also found. It is assumed that these coins arrived on the peninsula in the times of the “Scythian wars”. Particularly, tetradrachms of Antioch on the Orontes and the bronze of Rhesaena were brought to Mountain Crimea from the provinces of the Roman Empire in Asia Minor.
