Re-reading and possible positioning of Ferenc Móra’s literary work through his love

Summary/Abstract: Ferenc Móra’s place in the Hungarian literary canon has been clearly confined in recent decades. The author associated with Szeged is considered to be a children’s writer, and also based on this narrative, his works are included in textbooks. The authors attempt to demonstrate that his poems are also an essential element of Móra’s literary work which enable the author to appear in the canon also as a writer of love poetry, perhaps alongside his friend and fellow writer Gyula Juhász.
