Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the current issue of the subject of liability for damages caused by a defective vaccine against COVID–19 to citizens in connection with its placement. The view was expressed that the responsibility for the safety of the vaccine lay with its manufacturer. Attention is also paid to the informed consent of the vaccinated person, which does not exclude or mitigate the responsibility of the manufacturer.
