Summary/Abstract: Vasile Ijac was a composer, conductor, music critic and teacher from Banat, who asserted himself at the beginning of the 20th century. The composer's musical creation includes almost all musical genres, but piano works occupy a very important place. Some of the most famous and important works are the Hedonisms, a series of eight miniature notebooks. The series of Hedonisme miniatures subscribes to the trajectory imposed by the stylistic currents asserted at the beginning ofthe 20th century. Of the eight notebooks, only the first notebook, opus 13 is printed, the rest are manuscripts located in the Archives of the Timisoara Banatul Museum.
