KIRKLARELİ, EDİRNE VE TEKİRDAĞ İLLERİNİN GASTRONOMİ DEĞERLERİNİN YEREL WEB SİTELERİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ
EVALUATION OF LOCAL WEBSITES OF GASTRONOMY VALUES OF KIRKLARELI, EDİRNE AND TEKIRDAG PROVINCES

Summary/Abstract: In today's world, people benefit from technology to quickly obtain information about a place or a subject. Thanks to the internet infrastructure, people who have an international communication network can access the websites offered by the internet. Websites with various uses have various functionalities such as obtaining information and visual materials. In this study, the websites of various public and non-governmental organizations belonging to the provinces and districts of Kırklareli, Edirne and Tekirdağ were included in the scope of the research and it was aimed to reveal the local gastronomy values on the websites. Within the sample, 63 websites were evaluated. The websites within the scope of the study applied qualitative research method and the obtained information was evaluated within the scope of the study. When the written literature on the scope of the study was examined, no study was found in which the gastronomy values on the websites of the cities included in the sample were examined. It is thought that this study is important in terms of better promoting the gastronomic values of the cities in the sample and raising awareness. As a result of the study, it is expected that the websites within the sample will include more gastronomic elements by revealing the deficiencies and the necessity of giving more place to the gastronomic elements of the destinations on their websites.
