The education of immigrant children

Summary/Abstract: The article undertakes the problem of education of migrant children in early school education. The first part is an attempt to discuss the phenomenon of migration, models of children support and theoretical background of the problem in Polish schools. The second part presents practical solutions — the role of cultural assistant, preparatory units and work methods. The third part focuses on students’ difficulties, both Polish and those of foreign origin.
