Summary/Abstract: The famous writer, poet, social leader Ilya Chavchavadze (1837–1906), whom Georgians define as the father of the nation, his book “Somekhta metsnierni da kvata qaghadi” Armenian savants and Out crying stones, published in 1899, is still up-to-date today. In the work, also known simply as “Out crying stones”, concern is expressed about the Armenians' land and land claims against Georgia, Armenian blackmail and unfounded lies are condemned. In the presented article, in the light of the work in question, it is revealed as a historical fact that Armenians, in parallel with the Anatolian and Azerbaijani Turks, also committed unjust acts and slanders against neighboring Georgians.
