Summary/Abstract: In this article, it will be focused on the meaning of the command caps used by the almighty Allah in the verses of the verses of the polytheists in the Surah An’am. It was pointed out that there is a connection between the insistence of the polytheists in denial and the hardening of the style by using harsh expressions in the verses. In Surah An’am, the imperative moods are used in the meanings of disclaimer, threat, in’am, favor, i’tibâr. It has been seen that the meaning of threat, which is one of the meanings of these modes, is in the majority. There was also the use of an infinitive in the sense of command. The expressions at the beginning of the surah are relatively soft expressions. Later, the attitudes of the deniers were explained and after it was explained that they would not believe even if they saw all kinds of miracles, their expressions became harsh and they were threatened with the punishment of the Hereafter.
