MASS MEDIA RESPONSE TO PANDEMIC CRISIS CHALLENGES

Summary/Abstract: This study addresses the media response to the pandemic crisis challenges from several perspectives. The media industry is facing emerging challenges, driven by digital technologies that modify how to practice journalism and financial constraints with impact on employees in the field. Empirical data were collected in the managers, journalists, the NGO media sector. The analysis of the synthesis of responses has outlined the perceptions of media employees. Epistemological interpretation of research results suggest valuable recommendations on postrezilience policies of the media.
