Summary/Abstract: Trafficking in human beings endangers human rights and fundamental freedoms. The aim of the research is: to find out about the prevalence of this phenomenon in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to determine the causes of human trafficking and to identify the most vulnerable group that would be a potential victim of human trafficking. The methodology of data collection is based on qualitative and quantitative research. It is concluded that human trafficking changes characteristics very quickly and transformes into new forms. The transformation of this problem has resulted in the fact that human exploitation does not apply to sexual exploitation.
