Google Search Query Skills in Accessing Japanese Culture Content in Different Languages

Summary/Abstract: There are links between learning a language and learning the culture of that language, as they are interrelated elements. Diversity is preferable in terms of resources that help to learn the culture of the learned language. For those who want to learn a foreign language should be provided with as many resources as possible or ways to access various resources should be demonstrated. This research seeks to answer the question of what strategy should be followed in accessing this diversity of resources. The sub-questions of the research are what kind of search queries can be generated in line with this strategy with Google search commands and what kind of results can be drawn from the data obtained in few different languages and from different country addresses. The variety of search queries displayed in this article points to the need for awareness-raising in terms of learning by discovery and material development.
