Summary/Abstract: It has been stated that more than 80 million people around the world had to migrate due to conflict, violence and oppression. 26 million of them are trying to survive as refugees. Perhaps the most affected group by the phenomenon of migration and the process after it is children under the age of 18, who make up more than half of refugees. Millions of refugees struggling with uncertainties away from their homes are deprived of many rights, especially education. This situation was also reflected in the study results. The fact that only 68% of refugee children attend primary school and 34% attend secondary school is the clearest reflection of the inequality experienced. In this regard, it has been stated that refugee girls constitute the disadvantaged group and that the number of girls receiving secondary education is half of the boys. The most basic problems that refugee children experience in the field of education can be listed as losing years in education due to moving away from their dormitories, language barriers in classrooms, unsuitability of educational materials, and being exposed to discrimination by teachers and other students at school. It is thought that it would be beneficial to create regulations that facilitate refugee children's access to education and to increase the number of studies on this subject.
