Summary/Abstract: Trade represents the exchange of products through the sale-purchase process – a branch of the national economy in which the circulation of goods takes place – which makes the link/connection between production and consumption. Foreign trade is the exchange of goods between countries — a country's imports and exports — a form of countries' participation in the international division of labor. Peaceful tendencies were accentuated by the principles of economic globalization (freedom of movement of labor, freedom of movement of goods, freedom of movement of capitals, etc.) which generated forms of international trade. The drive for economic efficiency and maximum profit by any means has made economic rationales question national or group security rationales. Since Russia and China have violated the Western world's values of economic development and international trade, they have become threats to international security.
