Summary/Abstract: This article presents an attempt at analysing examples of rare three- and four-prefix lexemes according to existing written records which paint the picture of how the translation of "Panoplia Dogmatica" by Euthymios Zigabenos survived in two books in the Slavic South. In all probability, this translation originated on Mount Athos in the first quarter of the 15th century. In an effort to establish common translation patterns both between individual titles and between the First and Second Books as a whole, the author analyses the following lexemes: въспривъвести, въспроповѣдовати, припроповѣдовати, прѣдъвъспроповѣдати, присъвъкоуплꙗти, присъвъмѣсити сѧ, приоуподоблꙗти, приоуподоблѥниѥ, among others. She finds out that in terms of polyprefixation, the translation reproduces steady tendencies favoured by scribes from Tarnovo and Mount Athos in the 14th century, while also displaying marked individual variation and conformity to the stylistic expressiveness of the context.
