Summary/Abstract: Артыкул прысьвечаны дасьледаваньню нацыі і грамадзянскай супольнасьці. Аўтар ставіць задачу разглядзець узаемасувязь паміж дадзенымі паняткамі. Адзначаецца праблема вызначэньня “грамадзянскае супольнасьці”. Аўтар разглядае ролю дзяржавы ва ўтварэньні нацыі і грамадзтва. Асобнае месца ў артыкуле належыць разгляду тыпалёгіяў нацыяналізмаў, прадстаўленых Гансам Конам, Энтані Сьмітам і Эрнэстам Гельнэрам. На аснове аналізу станаўленьня нацыі і грамадзтва адзначаецца адсутнасьць выразнага падзелу паміж імі. Аўтар зьвяртае увагу на дапаўняльнасьць і ўплыў грамадзтва, нацыі і дзяржавы адзін на аднаго. The article covers the examination of a nation and a civil society. The author is aimed at the analysis of specific relationships between the above-mentioned concepts. In the process of analysis he finds it difficult to define the concept “civil society”. Examining the role of a state in the formation of a nation and a society the researcher pays special attention to the typologies of nationalisms presented by Hans Kohn, Anthony Smith and Ernest Gellner. Resting upon the analysis of a nation and society formation, he comes to the conclusion that there is no pronounced separation between them. What is more important that a society, a nation and a state complement and influence each other.
