Summary/Abstract: The article presents the assumptions, theses, concepts and stipulations discussed in the texts included in volume 29 of the „Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Kształcenie Polonistyczne Cudzoziemców” scientific journal. The title of the volume is „Communication – language – culture. (Language) teaching inspirations”. The authors of the published works focus on issues such as: the improvement of teaching methods and techniques, genres, texts and teaching content, curricula and the organization of teaching, the development of multilingualism. They also review new Polish as a foreign language textbooks and a monograph on ethnic stereotypes.
