Summary/Abstract: In the face of fierce competition between schools, the headmaster of a successful school can and should be compared to a military commander. To lead a pedagogical team is an art and as such, it cannot be explained. Without pretending to be comprehensivene and without redundant theorizing, I offer a simple test and 12 tips in which the wisdom of military and political leaders from ancient times to the present day, refracted through my 20 years of management experience, will help you be on the winning side.
