Summary/Abstract: The paper is dedicated to the controversial and very important issue in Serbian science, the time of the death of the first Serbian archbishop Saint Sava. In the paper we present and corroborate the assumption that St. Sava died on January 14, 1235. In line with that, new observations are made about the political situation in Serbia and Sava’s itinerary after he left the position of the Serbian archbishop.
