Summary/Abstract: This paper is dedicated to the diplomatic analysis of čelnik Radič’s charters, who was a prominent noble of Despots Stefan Lazarević and Đurađ Branković. In total, these are four charters intended for monasteries. The documents were created between 1430/1431 and 1433. By studying their diplomatic formulas certain features of these acts can be determined. The formulas such as intitulatio and sanction have a special significance for this research. Also, it is necessary to consider whether there were formularies for composing noblemen’s charters. These sources are important for understanding hierarchical relations between rulers and nobles in the Serbian medieval state during the last decades of its existence. The small number of preserved noblemen’s charters makes it impossible to draw firm conclusions.
