Summary/Abstract: Purpose - The aim of this study is to examine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism sector in the context of hotel enterprises in Şanlıurfa. Design/methodology/Approach - In the research, 7 hotel enterprises in Şanlıurfa were interviewed and information was obtained from hotel managers by interview technique, which is one of the qualitative methods of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the light of the information received, the data were coded and analyzed. Findings -In the study, it was concluded that the Covid-19 pandemic negatively affected enterprises in terms of capacity, profitability, workforce and sales. All of the enterprises have received the "Safe Tourism Certificate". Enterprises have stated that there is a lot of deviation in their budgets in terms of their own capital and budget. However, it is seen that there is uncertainty about the measures and plans taken due to the unpredictability. It has been stated that the Covid-19 pandemic does not provide an opportunity for processing. In general, it is stated that they find the city advantageous in terms of tourism and a great development is expected in terms of tourism after the pandemic. Discussion - Although Covid-19 pandemi is accepted as a crisis, it is thought that it will adversely affect the tourism sector and the economy for a long time. Especially considering that it affects enterprises economically and deviating in their budgets, decision -makers, businesses, managers, investors should be prepared and take measures against the possibility of many crisis in general, not only this situation.
