Summary/Abstract: The focus of this article’s analysis is the general theoretical view of war as a social phenomenon, and its interpretation in history, as presented by Petar Mandžukov in his publication titled “The First World War – A Historical Essay”. In addition, it looks at his elaboration on the reasons for its occurrence as he views it through his anarchist and pacifist prism, and as somebody who participated in the First World War and survived it.
