Post-war resettlement of Tachov region in the memories of 2 women

Summary/Abstract: This Article based on the memories of 2 women, it reconstructs the picture ofthe post-war settlement of the Tachov region. The selected witnesses are representedby 2 groups, which were also covered by 2 different perspectives in thesettlement process. She is Czech, and unpopulated Germany. The meaning ofthis article is to explain how these people recall not only the above mentionedhistorical period, which brought many changes into their lives, and by analysisand interpretation of their memories attempt to find mutual differences and similaritiesin this phase of their lives. It focuses on the process of forming ethnicidentity in accordance with the chosen concept of Richard Jenkins.
