Summary/Abstract: The HG House to be built in the district of Trabzon Akçaabat in Yenimahalle Bodomiya Stream site; It is a housing design project brought to me through Karadeniz Technical University, Revolving Fund Management Directorate. The HG House, where the plan, section, appearance and details of the old housing pattern in the region are reinterpreted, is a residential complex that aims to re-evaluate the old spatial relations where they can make intellectual and intellectual inferences to the next generations. The aim of this project is to show that a new product can be designed by interpreting the integrated and traditional house instead of damaging the nature, as well as designing harmony with the environment of the building. Therefore, the designed mass is lost in the existing tissue, the façade used, the structure, approaches such as selecting materials from local and natural materials as much as possible are just as important as the functional integrity and fluency of the project. This study focuses on the potential use of space as a tool in the design process as one of the methods aimed at directing environmental knowledge to the design process and directing it intuitively with science. HG House's reinterpretation of the traditional dwelling aims to decipher the space and the life that takes place in the space, focusing on the relational, configurational features of the space. It is tried to examine the potential use of the space layout in the design process. HG House, which feeds on traditional building fiction, highlights the formality and potential of space organization to be used in the design process and reinterpretation of mass and solution-oriented findings.
