Summary/Abstract: Extended confiscation is a safety measure that appeared on the national legislative landscape in 2012. Since the entry into force of the regulation, a number of questions have arisen regarding this new criminal law sanction, such as: What goods are covered by extended confiscation? Can this safety measure apply to third parties? What standards of evidence apply when considering the conditions for taking this safety measure? etc. The present material attempts to present case law solutions on these and related questions of law, with particular reference to business crime.
