The language issue of the Rusyns in the context of the epoch of life A. Bacinsky

Summary/Abstract: Fragments of the language question of the Rusyns in the territory of Austria-Hungary empire at the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century with a focus on the personality of bishop Andrej Bačinsky. In this thesis we will work with the issue of the rusyn language at the end of the 18th century and at the beginning of the 19th century in the historical county of Ung. At the same time, we will try to interpret the historical context of the time in relation to the geographical area inhabited by the Rusyns at that time. We will focus on the personality of bishop Andrej Bačinsky and his contribution to the ruthenian nation, language and culture.
