Summary/Abstract: Bishop Stefan Oster, a member of the german Synodal Path, gives an insight into hiscritical view of the reform project and recalls the standards of the scholastic theologicaldisputation, which first embraces the arguments of the opponents and only afterwardsenters into a critical debate with them. His suggestion is, that renewal and spiritual conversionshould come first and foremoste from the encounter with the living Christ.
