Summary/Abstract: Security sector coordination is a complex issue for every country. Therefore, the basic question that arises is not the question "Is there a need for coordination of the security community"?, but the central question "How is the necessary coordination achieved, especially in complex security and health crises"? Coordination is an "old pain" of the security sector of the Macedonian state and in recent years, in the absence of concrete solutions, it has been treated with various political, pragmatic, and even ad hoc interventions. Coordination is still a big challenge for the Macedonian state because experiences with health crises caused by the Covid-19 pandemic have confirmed that it is necessary to ensure the functional connection of all security actors so that the planned tasks can be carried out jointly and in a coordinated manner, without problems. Therefore, the idea in this paper is to point out the need for coordination of the security sector for proper, coordinated and synchronized action in complex security circumstances.
