Influences and confluences in contemporary Romanian literature. II. Inquiry researchers, essayists, literary critics

Summary/Abstract: "Vatra" magazine invites researchers, essayists and literary critics to answer the following questions: 1. In the context of new methodologies and critical discourses (directions drawn by researchers such as P. Casanova, D. Damrosch or F. Moretti; gender studies; ecological theory, etc.), how necessary is a synthetic update of the discussion about literary influences in general and in contemporary and extremely contemporary Romanian literature in particular? 2. What are the differences in relation to literary models/tradition and, implicitly, in the integration of cultural forms such as mass media or new media in the literature of the three mentioned generations? 3. Do you consider that in current, extremely contemporary Romanian literature, we are still dealing with a subversive countermodel (imported, as in the case of the eighties, for example), or is it still necessary to mark a break with the literary tradition? 4. What would be the lines of major influences and confluences (internal and external), identifiable in current prose/poetry? Can they be unitarily systematized or are they, rather, heterogeneous? Can it be said that a certain literary genre is more susceptible to them, or that it has a higher degree of permeability? 5. Which writers have influenced you? How have they stimulated your creativity? 6. What role do you attribute to cultural references in your creation (authors, literary works, music, TV series, etc.)? How much do you take into account the potentialities of cultural dialogue when you write? 7. Do you consider that your work is in a relationship of continuity or discontinuity with previous literary generations?
