Summary/Abstract: Phonemic hearing allows you to properly decode the meaning of words, recognize syllables and differentiate sounds, ensuring the reception of speech sounds based on the activities of reception, differentiation, differentiation and auditory memory. The results of the phonemic hearing test of a 6‑year‑old child with alalia prolongata presented in the work indicate basic difficulties, define program needs, and at the same time outline the perspective of educational and therapeutic tasks. Persistent deficits in speech and articulation development together with phonemic hearing disorders may have a decisive impact on the assessment of school readiness, and then a successful start at the stage of early school education.
