An Economic overview of Gračanica in 2021. – a brief review

Summary/Abstract: In this article we present an economic overview of Gračanica, using the data from the material titled „Information on current economic trends in the city of Gračanica – 2021“, which was adopted by the Gračanica City Council at its 20th session, held on October 11th 2022. This is a rather extensive document, around 60 pages of material, which is regularly presented to the City council, primarily for information purposes. According to the indicators in this document it can be concluded that the economy of this city is seeing certain positive trends and that it is successfully overcoming many difficulties in conducting business, which were primarily caused by the pandemic, but also the factors of an unstable market in the conditions of a permanent political crisis in the country, etc. In addition to the main indicators of economic success in general in the city area, at the end we provide a tabular overview, that is, a ranking list of the 20 most successful companies by total revenue and profit. These are the actual companies that make up the economic framework and backbone of this city.
