Summary/Abstract: This text explores the relations between the notion of resemblance and the Freudian disturbing strangeness. The resemblances formed during the psychic movement of dreaming have a specific rhythm: something between the highly conform and an inform matter; something between repetition and difference which signifies the fact that these animated resemblances capture the subjective time by means of images. Then we may pass from Freud to Walter Benjamin and his “theory of resemblance”.
