Summary/Abstract: This work aims to bring to your attention the lyric of Zorica Lațcu, a mystical poem, which has in mind the love that gives you the power of Christian freedom. Among the poets who publish within the “Gândirea” group, we mention Nechifor Crainic, Vasile Voiculescu, Ion Pillat, Lucian Blaga, Radu Gyr, Sandu Tudor, but also Zorica Lațcu, also known as the nun Theodosia. She was influenced by the philolocal patristic spirit and the Isihast current. The poet risked to remain known only through a few brochures, volumes or verses that appeared in church publications. What made the lyric of Zorica Lațcu known more was the advice of archimandrite Father Teofil Părăian from Sâmbăta to make a complete edition of the poems written by Mother Theodosia, which was materialized by the volume Poems, published by Sophia Publishing House in 2008. What emerges from the poet’s lyric is the theme of love through which man reaches Christian freedom and ultimately salvation.
