Summary/Abstract: With an activity that started in 1922, the Romanian School in Rome (known today as Accademia di Romania in Roma), was one of the Institution that promoted the Romanian culture, its history and its legacy in the Italian space. Among the main tools that it used, there must be surely counted the two journals edited under its coordination, namely „Ephemeris Dacoromana” and „Diplomatarium Italicum”. Conscious of their value, we will try there to present the way how they contributed to the valorization of the Romanian culture in the Occident and in the same time how, through the articles published there, managed to host names that will later become important voices of the Romanian culture and research. We will therefore show how the three directors that, during the investigated period, ruled the School, namely: Vasile Pârvan, Emil Panaitescu and George G. Mateescu (that prepared one issue of „Ephemeris”, but due to his premature death, did not arrive to see it published), succeeded not only to create bridges with other cultures and in the same time to promote the Romanian values.
