Summary/Abstract: One of the important figures of the Bukhara Hanafī tradition is Muḥammad b. al-Faḍl al-Kamārī (d. 381/991). Muḥammad b. al-Faḍl’s life, his place in the chains of Hanafī sect teacher-student, and some of his views constitute the subject of our study. Muḥammad b. al-Faḍl’s place in Hanafī fiqh tradition and revealing his views is important in terms of knowing the sources of the views of Hanafī jurists who grew up after him and came to the fore, especially with their contributions to the sect-introducing of Muḥammad b. al-Faḍl and his place in the teacher-student chains of Hanafī tradition and revealing the fiqh views is among the aims of our study. In addition, it is aimed to reveal the teacher-student chains that continue with their students after him. In our study, the document/literature scanning method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used, and the obtained information was analyzed by comparison. During the research, classical uṣūl and furū works were scanned as well as tabakāt and historical sources. At the end of the study, it was concluded that Muḥammad b. al-Faḍl was a mujtahid in the sect. His views are mostly consulted in the works of fiqh and fatwa, and his views are also taken as reference on the subjects of fiqh methodology and kalam, although they are few in number. It has been concluded that there are three different and important teacher-student chains which is starting by Muḥammad b. al-Faḍl in the Bukhara Hanafī tradition.
