THE POLITICAL PANORAMA OF BULGARIA

Summary/Abstract: During the seminar on Bulgarian culture organized by the University of Naples L’Orientale I had the opportunity to learn more about the political structure of modern Bulgaria thanks to Fabio Ashtar Telarico, Research Project Assistant at University of Ljubljana – Faculty of Social Sciences. We explored the main players on the political scene, the intentions of the major parties, their orientations, and ties with Russia and Europe. Studying the Czech language and culture and having lived in Brno for a while, I was able to make a brief comparison between the two states and their relationships with their past
